Chanel is the favorite of the fashion brand China: cosmetics collections give French fashion house advantage over other luxury brands
Chanel is officially favorite luxury fashion brand in China, Louis Vuitton knock winner last year in the first place.
French fashion brand Chanel came World Luxury Index of the country, beaten only by Audi and BMW third in 2013 - the first and second finish.
The index of luxury, which is produced by market research and business intelligence company, Digital Luxury Group, believes that the position of Chanel lucrative offers were helped by their beauty.
Other brands of fashion and beauty that made the top 10 include Estee Lauder to four hours, followed by Louis Vuitton five in number.
In eighth place was Dior, Lanc?me 11 Gucci was ranked 12th, followed by Hermes 13
The rest of the top ten was dominated by European brands such as Prada, Dior, Burberry, Giorgio Armani and Versace.
Giorgio Armani brand claimed fastest growing fashion muses as she climbed 17 places this year.
However, Salvatore Ferragamo and Moncler fell on the ranking this year.
In an interview with WWD, said David Sadigh, founder and CEO of Digital Luxury Group:
"Chanel enjoys a high degree of interest in China, most of the strong interest of Chinese consumers in their beauty products, including Louis Vuitton did not."
Sadigh added: "To stay ahead of the game, the notes must be able to adapt quickly to, increasing the risk of saturation of the brand.
"In the case of Louis Vuitton, LVMH has changed tactics by a brake on its global expansion, with a simultaneous increase in prices, and developing countries more high-end leather.
Louis Vuitton will soon be trying to capitalize on China's obsession with beauty by launching its first fragrance since the eighties.
